Which show is which
Symphony of the Sea vs Kiss of the Sea: what's the difference?
Phú Quốc has two big Sunset Town night shows with similar names. Here's how they differ, and whether to do one, the other, or both.

Sunset Town is home to two headline evening shows whose names cause endless confusion: Symphony of the Sea and Kiss of the Sea. They're separate productions on the same stretch of southern Phú Quốc, and plenty of visitors book one thinking it's the other. Knowing which is which before you buy saves disappointment and, if you want both, lets you plan them properly.
Symphony of the Sea, in short
Symphony of the Sea is the outdoor, over-the-water spectacle: lasers, water screens, low fireworks and live jetski and flyboard stunts across the open bay, in a fast half hour. It's free-flowing and crowd-facing — much of it visible from the waterfront — with the ticket buying a reserved viewing spot. Think high-energy light-and-stunt show rather than a seated theatre piece.
Kiss of the Sea, in short
Kiss of the Sea is the more theatrical of the two: a ticketed outdoor multimedia show with a storyline, performers, water effects and staging, watched from a dedicated seated auditorium. It's a produced narrative spectacle you buy a proper seat for, closer to a large-scale theatre-on-water production than Symphony's open-bay stunt show. It generally sits at a higher price point to match.
Doing both
They're different enough that seeing both isn't repetitive — one is a stunt-and-fireworks blast, the other a staged narrative show — and combo tickets that bundle the two are sold precisely because they complement each other. If you've got an evening at Sunset Town and the budget, doing both makes for a full night; if you're choosing one, pick Symphony for energy and fireworks, Kiss of the Sea for story and staging.
How to book the right one
The simplest way to avoid the mix-up is to book by the exact product on GetYourGuide rather than by the similar-sounding name alone, and to check whether you're buying Symphony, Kiss of the Sea, or a combo of both. Each shows its inclusions, timing and live price before you pay, with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead, so it's easy to confirm you've got the show — or shows — you actually meant.
